Have you ever won a Rolex?

Hi,

Do you feel o so lousy when some one asks you the time and then you have to show your cheap Japanese watch? Well I have the solution for this: I offer you a real replica ROLEX watch!

Well, you can win it, and the contest is for FREE. So throw your Japanese would be watch right into the bin and grab your chance HERE.

Suspicious? No need to, it's really free. No I'm not drunk (yet).

Why am I doing this? To promote my web site (yet another).

Is this successful ? Of course not. People like you and me, educated people, don't like things for free. We like to pay and get robbed. So for several months I've been promoting this free contest all over the web, yet only about 35 people have tried to guess the value of the displayed watch.

Will I really send this watch to the winner? Yes, but I'm afraid that by the time I get my required number of visitors, the winner will already have forgotten that he/she participated in a contest.

In the next days I'll start looking for some new experiments to let my web traffic explode. If you have some suggestions, I'll be pleased to take them into account.

God bless you.

Eric

Do I earn money on the web?

Hi,

If you have read my previous blogs then you know that I spend money on the web, mainly by buying ads, hits, traffic ... in most cases with little or no success (so far but I'll keep on trying).

How much do I spend? About $250 each month, about $200 on Adwords from Google, about $50 on trying out all kinds of traffic magic tools.

How much do I earn? About $2000 to $3500 each month. But what is funny (depends largely on your sense of humour to find this funny): most of the money I earn, I earn without spending a single penny.

I use Google adwords to promote a site that doesn't sell things (spend $6/day), it has some links to Amazon, but this doesn't earn me a lot ($35/month). On this site I have also adsense ads from Google, and I earn about the double of what I spend ($12/day). No not only by visitors from my adwords campaign, 80% comes from search engines.

Then I use adwords to promote a virtual shop I have ($2/day), as the items in my shop are rather expensive I only sell one item every few months. Keeps me break even.

But most of my earnings come from Google Adsense. I have a site that has about 800 visitors each day, and about 15% clicks on the Google ads.

So after all my average monthly net return is about $2500, nice isn't it. And remember most of this without spending money.

Hope you're doing well.
